Week 8 - FBC Desoto, Wamego UMC, FUMC Marble Falls, Believers Southern Baptist, Heritage UMC, FBC Groveland, Green Trails UMC & Aldan Union

Rosamond
FBC Desoto served alongside us at Bible Club Rosamond this week! The team ran a spy-themed Bible Club and the kids were super excited about it. At crafts, the kids made walkie-talkies from juice boxes, Poloroid ID badges, and toilet paper roll binoculars. All of the kids were so excited to show off their Polaroid pictures and couldn't believe that they could actually see through their binoculars! Each day at Bible story the kids learned a new chant to help them remember the most important parts of the stories. It was sweet to hear the kids chanting the good news of Jesus across Bible Club! Games station was also a blast this week from soccer and relay races to 9-square! Desoto brought snacks for the kids to take home every day and the kids were so excited about it! We are so thankful to have had FBC Desoto in town to run Bible Club Rosamond this week. Thank you for all of your hard work and energy.

Guernsey
Wamego UMC was hanging out on G-street this week! The team jumped off the bus and was ready to meet lots of kids! They went out and brought us back a summer high of 73 kiddos! The team had an interactive Bible story each day followed by a game to help them remember the message of the story. At crafts, each child got to make their very own coloring book! The kids were able to color a new picture every day that went along with the Bible story. Games was a blast all week long! The team led the kids in challenging relays, then our kids had to do them again blindfolded! The boys also played ultimate frisbee and had the best time. Songs was a rocking time this week as well. Wamego brought instruments for our kids to play along to the music! The team always had our kids up and dancing! Thank you, Wamego UMC, for a great week! We can’t wait to see what God has in store for next week!

Whittier
A huge shoutout to FBC Desoto for serving at Whittier for week 8! Our kids had soo much fun with Desoto and all their exciting activities. We had a summer high of 63 kids on Friday and we couldn’t be happier to love so many! FBC Desoto really connected with each child and loved them so well making them want to keep coming back every day. Every craft this week fit into the spy theme. Our kids made binoculars, juice box walkie talkies, an ID badge with a polaroid picture on it, a decoder, and a bookmark. The kids loved all the creativity and originality of these cool crafts! In games, they mastered a challenging obstacle course, ultimate trash can, the “cone game” and relays! In songs, they learned a Gospel chant, danced their little hearts out, played hot potato and learned a new game called “Protect the President.” The Bible story was interactive with giant posters and actions. The team also brought yummy snacks to go home with the kids every day which was definitely a hit. Thank you FBC Desoto for allowing another fantastic week of Bible Club at Whittier as well as for serving and loving Bible club babies there so well!

National
First United Methodist Church Marble Falls served well with us this week. National ran a high of 39 kiddos this week. Week 8 was so much fun! Our kids adored Bible story. Marble Falls brought an entire puppet stage to share valuable scriptural truths! We learned all about Jesus this week, from His birth to His time at the temple to Him teaching at Mary and Martha’s house. The puppets were engaging and the kids loved watching the show. Over at crafts, we built, colored and decorated! A couple favorite crafts of the week were decorating fun wells and designing and building lanterns that would glow at night! Our kids were so excited to take their crafts home, show them to parents, and tell them all about Bible Club this week! Everyone loved playing capture the flag, ultimate frisbee, ran relay races, and competing in kickball at game's station. In songs, the kids got to play freeze dance and Uno. Thank you, Marble Falls, for loving on our kids this week!

Johnson
Farewell Johnson! Believers Southern Baptist was in town this week, and we are so thankful to them for helping us close out the summer! It’s been an amazing summer at Bible Club Johnson. We have had so many amazing teams in and watched so many kids grow in their relationships with Christ and others. The kids, teams, and staff made so many amazing memories. Thanks to Believers Southern Baptist we got to spend quality time with our kids before saying goodbye until next summer! God blessed us with beautiful weather and sunshine all week long! Believers Southern Baptist finished the summer off well, with a high of 46 kids on Tuesday! The team taught our kids about Jesus walking on water and several of the other miracles that He performed. Our older kids asked a lot of questions and wanted to write their memory verses down so they could take them home to memorize! They also made crafts related to this weeks theme “In the Wild”. The older kids made little animals and glued googly eyes on them, and the little kids made noisemakers that looked like elephants. We all had a great time this week! Thank you, Believers Southern Baptist, for loving our kids so well this week!
- Jordan & Andrea

Que Que
Heritage UMC rocked the earth at Que Que this week with a high of 45 kids on Thursday! Though they may have brought a small team that sure didn’t stop them from bringing a lot of love. Our kids celebrated their last week of Bible club with an assortment of games including jump rope, bean bag toss, and races. They continued the fun by making colorful crafts that they could take home and share with their parents. Songs station was always popping with dance battles and hot potato. Our boys probably had the most fun over at games this week. It was such a bittersweet week as team members and staff loved on the kids for the last time this summer. Friday consisted of many tears, hugs and I love you’s. During dismissal, our kids kept running up to us to say goodbye. Just as we were about to pull away, one of our 7-year-old boys yelled from his balcony, “Hey, I love you guys!” and all of our hearts melted. Every kid at Que Que gave us so many reasons to love them and even though our time with them is up we will never stop loving and praying for them. Thank you again, Heritage UMC, for loving our kids so well and helping us make our last week the best week! Until next summer, Que Que.

Pope
How is week 8 already over? First Baptist Church Groveland was at Pope for our last week, and we had such a good time at Bible Club! Our kids, especially our older girls, had a blast at songs station all week dancing to The Git Up and The Cha Cha Slide. At some points, all of our stations were doing the same dance and we had a dance-off across bible club! Our older boys loved the games station where they ran relay races and had a basketball tournament. Our youngest kids also loved games where they played with a parachute and tried to keep balls from falling off of the parachute. Our crafts station made salvation bracelets, door hangers, blindfolds, and a caterpillar that turned into a butterfly. All of the crafts tied into the Bible story and helped our kids remember how unique they were. In Bible story, our kids learned about Jesus’ life and about how he died on the cross to save us. A lot of our older boys became very serious about who Jesus was and what he did for us. FBC Groveland brought us a week high of 38 kids on Friday. A lot of team members were able to reunite with familiar faces throughout the week and our kids were so happy about it! Groveland, thank you for planning so many fun things for Pope bible club and loving our kids so well this week. We’ve had such a good time with all of our kids and we cannot wait to see what God does at Pope Bible Club next summer!

Kendrick
What a great week it was at Kendrick. Thank you so much to Green Trails UMC for all the love and energy that you poured into the kids this week.  We all thought that last week was the closing week at Kendrick, so it was a blessing to be able to pour a full additional week into the kid as well as the community. One of the sweetest moments of the week was two kids running up to bible club on Monday so excited saying, "You're back! You're back! You said last week was the final week, but you're back!" It was amazing to see the kids so excited to have another team and another week of games, songs, crafts, and stories. Bible story was great with week, and the kids were able to learn about the birth, life, and ministry of Jesus. The kids had so much fun at crafts were they were able to make Christmas ornaments, necklaces and headbands! Songs rocked it bringing some new songs for the kids to learn like the English version of "Zacchaeus was a wee little man" and the penguin dance! The fun continued at games where the kids had blast playing soccer, Mr. Bear, and tag! The missionaries from Green Trails did a great job creating relationships with the Kendrick kids by showing them what God's love looks like. It was so sweet to see how some kids who did not say one word on Monday, were laughing, singing, dancing, and answering every question at bible story by the end of the week. It shows that by giving your all the Christ, he can use things as simple as dancing like a penguin to open a child's eye to who Jesus is. Thank you so much to Green Trails for allowing us to see the Kendrick kids one more great week so full of love and for allowing the kids to see that Jesus was truly at the center of everything from bible story to games. Thank you for loving our kids so well and giving it your all. We are so excited to see how Jesus continues to work in the lives of the kids and community around Kendrick bible club.

Hill
My lighthouse, my lighthouse, shining in the darkness, I will follow You! Summer 2019 is coming to a close for Street Reach STL, and we could not ask for a better closing week here at Bible Club Hill. Big thanks to Aldan Union for their willingness to come and serve with us in St. Louis this week. The kids' favorite songs were beach party and, obviously, my lighthouse. They heard Bible stories about how Jesus healed the lepers, His birth, and why He died for us. One of our kids even accepted Jesus as his Savior this week! Hallelujah! Aldan Union helped the kids make Christmas ornaments, some hearts that showed how Jesus heals, fun bracelets, and crowns to show that Jesus is the true King. The kids loved ultimate football (the team's version of ultimate frisbee), Mr. Bear, sharks and minnows, and how many bubbles can we pop. Aldan Union, we could not have asked for a better closing week for Street Reach St. Louis 2019. Thank you once again for a great week!

Week 7 - The Brook Church, Faith Baptist Church, Union Grove Baptist, FBC Collierville, Parkway Assembly of God, The Gathering Place, Barfield Baptist Church & Center Point Church

Rosamond
It was such a treat to have The Brook Church in town this week! No amount of rain could hold them back! The Brook was always excited to go out and pick kids up for Bible Club! At the beginning of every day, our kids had the opportunity to dance and sing at puppet shows put on by the team. It was sweet to see the kids want to love on the puppets and be their friends! The fun didn't stop after the puppet shows, however. The Brook had awesome crafts planned for the Rosamond kids this week. They made bejeweled crowns, colorful bracelets, and creative canvases to hang up in their houses! So many sweet relationships were formed between the kids and the team this week, and several kids asked deep questions of the Bible story teachers about Christ and their need for him. Games was always a blast, especially playing bucket ball! It was such a unique and fun game that kept all the kid's involved and having fun! We are so thankful to have had The Brook Church hanging out with us at Rosamond this week. We look forward to having you all back in town next summer!

Guernsey
Week 7 was popping at G-Street with Faith Baptist Church! They were full of energy and ready to head out and get lots of kiddos for Bible Club! Faith Baptist brought us a high of 61 kids this week! They were pumped to meet all of the kids and share Jesus with each of them! The team acted-out the Bible stories with the kids and gave them props to use. The kids were eager to help act out and learn the stories! For songs, the team brought a guitar, and the kids loved getting to play the guitar and sing the songs! In crafts, the kids made necklaces, bracelets, and cute crosses! Everyone was super excited to show off their crafts to their families and friends! In games this week the boys played soccer, and they loved showing off their skills! The kids played against the team members and loved when they would score on them! We are so thankful for Faith Baptist Church and their willingness to serve! We can’t wait to see what God has in store for the rest of the summer!

Whittier
There sure wasn’t a party like the Whitvegas party we had all this week! The Brook Church came super prepared to love on some kids and even brought a full-on puppet show for songs! It was an out of the ordinary, fun surprise for our kids! They really enjoyed dancing and singing to all the fun music while watching the fun puppets. Games was always rockin’ with Bucketball and Tic-Tac-Toe relays, and Mr. Bear. The crafts were also amazing and practical this week with a tye-dye canvas, water bottle, and flip flops that the kids got to decorate and make their own. Sadly we couldn’t do bible club on Monday due to bad storms and we had to switch bible club and afternoon projects on Tuesday but that didn’t phase the Brook. Despite these setbacks, the team was super flexible and showed Christ’s love so well. With a constant increase in kids each day, we finished off the week on Friday with 43! One of our bible club kids has been asking many questions about what it’s like to be a Christian so please pray for her to keep coming back to Bible club, for understanding, the right words to say, and ultimately for her to start a relationship with Jesus. Thank you so much The Brook Church for being a stepping stone in her life and loving the kids at Whittier and Rosamond so well!
- Claire & Kristin

National
Union Grove Baptist, you served so well this week! Union Grove made the most of every single moment! Our kiddos learned about cooperation, friendship, and God’s promises in Bible story through fun snacks and intentional conversations. A favorite craft for the week was the fruit loop necklaces that helped teach the kids about friendship and doubled as a take-home snack. Everyone had so much fun in songs this week! Union Grove introduced us to some new songs and the older girls continued perfecting the Cotton Eyed Joe while our 6-8-year-olds started learning the Git Up. Kickball, double dutch, and soccer were some favorite games played this week. Union Grove did such a great job of canvassing this week with a high of 48 kids on Friday! So many kids were loved well this week! We loved seeing new faces at Bible Club this week, too! Union Grove, we loved watching you walk kids home after club and talk to them about Jesus. We shared your joy in each new kid coming to club this week and admired your enthusiasm in getting “one more kid”! We cannot thank you enough!
- Morgan & Kara

Johnson
Rain, rain, go away, come again another day! GP +Y did an amazing job working around the rain this week! Due to thunderstorms, we didn’t get to go to Bible club until Tuesday afternoon where we had 29 kids! We got to see a lot of new faces and the team walked extra on their routes to find more kids. They taught our Johnson kids the first four of the ten commandments and reinforced the story by asking questions and giving prizes for the answers. Our older girls made a competition of how many questions they could answer correctly in a row. The Gathering Place also helped the kids make fridge magnets with Bible verses on them and scratch off tablets with the Ten Commandments on them. The kids had a blast making necklaces with a cross on them and showing them. On Thursday the kids got wrapped up with toilet paper in games and had to break free, they never had a dull moment! Songs station was by far the loudest with yelling competitions and a big speaker playing “Old Town Road”, “The Git Up” and many more fun dancing songs. The kids learned the dance/song “All Across the Nation” and had a blast showing off their dancing skills! We want to thank our part of the Gathering Place for their awesome energy and eagerness to love our kids!
-Jordan & Andrea

Que Que
It was a great week at club Que Que with FBC Collierville! We had our week high of 41 kiddos on Thursday. At the beginning of club, the kids started all together at songs where they learned new songs and dances. The kids loved the songs and were singing the lyrics and doing the motions during free play come Friday! They learned about Jonah and the Whale, Isaac & Abraham, and Daniel and the Lions Den. At games station, the younger group enjoyed playing duck-duck-goose and nine corners, and the older groups loved playing nine square! Crafts were a big hit this week, the kids made keychains, decorated prayer boxes, door signs, and a Jesus fish with colored sand. During Bible Renforcement the kids got the chance to test their knowledge with some trivia questions about the Bible stories they heard. Thank you, FBC Collierville, for loving our kids so well. We are looking forward to seeing you again next summer!

Pope
P-O-P-E! If you wanna get to Heaven, we know the key! Parkway Assembly of God was at Pope Bible Club this week, and we had an awesome time with the Avengers-themed bible club. The main idea of the week was that Jesus is our superhero. In crafts, our kids made superhero masks, which they loved wearing to each station at Bible Club. Our kids also made superhero bracelets and colored superhero gloves that they were able to take them home with them. In Bible story, our kids learned about different heroes in the Bible like David and Moses. On Friday, they learned about the ultimate hero, Jesus, and how he died to save us. In songs, we sang and danced to songs like Church Clap and Jesus is My Superhero. In games, we played Sharks and Minnows and had relay races. Our older kids got to play a relay race where they had to balance ping pong balls on a spoon and walk around a tree without dropping the ball. Parkway brought us 39 kids on Thursday, which was the high for the week. We are so thankful for you, Parkway Assembly of God, and all of the kids you brought to us this week!
- Abbey & Tanisha

Jackson
The Gathering Place team absolutely rocked week 7 at Jackson. Although the rain and storms gave us a weird start to the week, this team was very flexible and loved the kids with their whole hearts. Nothing could stop them from having one of the best weeks ever at Jackson! The kids learned the Ten Commandments and different life lessons to live by in Bible story all week. Almost every kid could recite and explain each lesson from the week by Friday! The songs station was one that was a joy to watch all week long. Every one of the kids participated in the crazy freestyle and line dance parties. Games was also a huge hit for each of the groups. All of our kids loved the balloon relays, pool noodle relays, and wrapping up team members in different toilet paper characters. I loved how excited the kids were to be fully hands-on and allowing me to judge their awesome creations. However, Mr. Bear and duck duck goose were not games forgotten this week. Crafts completely knocked it out of the park this week. The kids were so engaged with all of the crafts they made. They were so proud of their coloring, scratch-off Ten Commandments, yarn hearts, OBEY papers, and bead necklaces. The Gathering Place team was a group that Jackson will never forget. You are so special to us, TGP, and we hope to see you back year after year.

Kendrick
Kendrick! What? Kendrick! What a great week it was at Bible Club Kendrick! Thank you so much to Barfield Baptist Church for all the hard work you put into this week! Thank you for working so hard to let all the kids know we were back out having Bible Club and being so flexible as we worked around stormy days. We began the week by reconnecting with 18 kids and finished the week with a summer high of 37 kids. It was fun seeing a lot of new faces that we will hopefully see again next summer! The kids at club had so much fun learning all about the first five commandments at Bible story. Over at crafts, the kids were able to make unique crafts that connected to the lesson. From prayer journals and foam pictures for family photos to handheld mirrors to remind the kids to keep their eyes on the one and only God, it was a blast! The fun continued over at songs where the kids loved running, jumping, and doing tricks over the pool noodles to the beat of the music. Games was also a hit with endless rounds of freeze tag and Mr. Bear. Overall, it was a wonderful week at Kendrick! It was so great to be able to see how the Lord is working in the lives of our kids as the summer goes on through Bible Club and Activity Clubs. Thank you again, Barfield Baptist, for loving the Kendrick kids so well and for allowing us to get back out there for another week! Thank you for spending so much energy and passion. The kids fed into your love and were so excited to get to come back day after day.
- Maci

Baltic
Bible Club Baltic was so blessed to have Center Point Church in this week! It was a wild week from the very beginning with all the rain, but that only made this team stronger! They were energetic, flexible, and most of all determined to love on the kids at Baltic. Something I really noticed this week was how intentional the Center Point team was with our kids. The team was always more than ready to start gospel conversations! Center Point loved the kids so well, and you could tell the kids loved them right back! People are drawn to the light of Jesus in us, and it was awesome to see the love of Christ shine throughout this week. This week was full of giggles, hugs and gospel conversations. God worked on the kids’ hearts and our hearts as well.  On Friday, we meditated on the scripture in Isaiah that says, “if you extend your soul to the afflicted and satisfy the needs of the hungry...then your light shall dawn in the darkness and it shall be bright as the noonday.” Center Point did just that. They filled up on Jesus and squeezed everything out for the kiddos this week. Not only did they seek to meet their needs spiritually but physically. At our final dismissal, they handed out bags of snacks and little sweet things. Center Point, we loved serving alongside you this week! Thank you for loving Jesus and loving our kids!

Rosamond
We are so thankful to have had FBC Jamestown in Memphis this week! Bible club was a ton of fun for everyone involved, and we had a high of 43 kids on Friday! Games station adapted to the heat by bringing spray bottles to mist the kids' arms and necks as they ran around playing kickball, river jump, and "hockey"! Bible story was insanely fun, especially when the kids got to act out the 10 plagues against Pharaoh! Crafts did a great job of reinforcing the Bible story and reminding the kids that God made them special and unique, and the kids had fun learning the motions to I'm Trusting You! Science & missions station was awesome as well. The kids had so much fun learning about God's love for them through mini science experiments. Throughout the week, FBC Jamestown reinforced the theme that God is Good! By the end of the week, kids were walking around screaming "God is good!" Thank you, FBC Jamestown, for such a sweet week. We are so grateful!

Guernsey
Valley View Baptist Church was hangin’ out on G-Street this week! This group was super excited to go out and knock on all the houses, and they brought us a high of 58 kiddos! The kids had a focus memory verse all week that they would go over in each station. As we were walking the kids home, they would all shout Psalms 23:1-3 from memory, and then got candy for memorizing it. The team also took pictures of each individual child and at the end of the week, they got to decorate a craft with their picture on it. On Friday, all the kids got Bibles and they were all excited to go home and show them to their families. Bible story rocked it this week as they held up signs and let the kids act out the stories. In games, the kids played a bean bag toss with a life-size Goliath! They got into two teams and had a fun competition between each other. We are so excited to see what God has planned for the last half of the summer. Continue to pray for the families of Guernsey!

We had a great week 6 at Whitvegas with an amazing team from Calvary Church in St. Louis. The team came excited and ready to serve. Despite the extreme heat, we had a weekly high of 45 kids on Wednesday and we could not be happier to love on so many kids. Our kids loved all our Bible stories and paid attention so well. They even got candy for participating and helping act the story out! They were also encouraged to share the stories to their parents every day they got home from Bible club. Multiple brand new kids expressed that hearing the Bible story was their favorite part. The games station was full of fun with all their original relays, cone games, and sharks and minnows. Watching all the kids running around enjoying themselves encouraged everyone to engage even more and pour all their energy into them. Crafts were rockin’ this week as well. The kids loved making sheep out of cotton balls, bead bracelets, paper chains, and coloring their hearts out. The team started a songs station on Wednesday and the kids had a blast playing freeze dance and hot potato. Every time the kids got out, they had to do their favorite dance move — they thought it was hilarious & were so entertained. We are beyond grateful that Calvary came this week to serve our community and love on kids in not just at Whittier, but at Johnson and Jackson as well!

Que Que
I don’t know what you have heard but, Que Que parties rock the earth...and so did Grace United Methodist Church. The kids over at Que Que had an amazing time this week at bible club learning all about how no matter what life throws at you, GOD. IS. GOOD! The heat didn’t stop this group as our kids partied hard at songs this week with freeze dance, limbo, and epic dance-offs. They continued the party at games with fun relays, lions and gazelles, and football. Kids had a blast at Grace’s imagination station, where they incorporated science lessons in their crafts. They were so ecstatic every day to take home the experiments they did so they could share what they learned with their families. Our older boys would not stop talking about the book and ribbon craft they made and kept coming back day after day to see what other cool crafts they could make. Grace fought through multiple days of heat advisories by bringing out squirt bottles to keep the kids cool and calm throughout club. Grace UMC loved with every bit of energy they had and held nothing back. We ended our week at Que Que with a high of 33 kids! Thank you so much to Grace UMC for all the love and energy that you brought to Que Que this week! It was so sweet to see the Que Que kids walk up to club every day with a smile on their face because they could not wait to see what Grace’s team had planned for that day! We are so excited to see how God will continue to work in the lives of our kids for the rest of the summer!

Pope
FBC Jamestown was hanging out at Bible Club Pope this week, and the kids had a blast! Our older boys loved playing basketball with a bouncy ball and a hula hoop in our games stations, and our older girls loved playing Little Sally Walker and having dance-offs in the songs station. Our youngest kids loved the science & missions station where they got to experiment with popping plastic balls into the air and watching where they would land. In Bible story, our kids learned about how God is good all of the time, even when we are in situations that are not so good. They learned this by hearing stories about the plagues and about Moses and the Red Sea. All of the kids enjoyed being able to act out these stories. Some kids played Moses and got to cross the Red Sea and others played Pharaoh’s people and got swallowed up by the Red Sea. Our crafts stations made so many fun things this week! Our kids got to make salvation bracelets, and people out of beads that were unique just like they are. We had a high of 35 kids on Friday, and each child went home with a backpack full of fun things. Baltic
What an awesome week at Bible Club Baltic! This week we had the privilege of serving with FBC Wheeler. The Wheeler team was tons of fun, and the kids loved them. On Monday, we had 15 kids, and it looked like the most fun Bible Club ever. Throughout the week, the team kept the kids engaged with pool noodle relays at games, dancing at songs, magic scratch papers at crafts, and animated stories at Bible story. One of my favorite moments was looking over at Bible Story and seeing the team and the kids holding hands and praying together. It was such a sweet picture of the unity we have together as believers, talking to the Lord together. Another sweet moment was at games on Wednesday. The team brought a parachute and it was a HIT. You could hear giggles and see smiles for miles from both the team and the kiddos. FBC Wheeler also took this week's challenges like champs! Heat advisories didn’t halt this team’s energy or love one bit. They walked everywhere to get our kiddos and poured everything out for them. If sweat and dirt are any indications of how involved they were, this team totally got it. During circle up before dismissal, it was so sweet to have kids coming up and saying, “I had so much fun at Bible Club today!” and “This was the best week ever!” I totally feel the same way. Jesus was SO glorified this week, and we feel so blessed to have been a part of it. He did some amazing things, and I think FBC Wheeler would totally agree.

Week 5 - Union Grove Baptist Church, FBC Liberty, El Salvador Assembly of God, Meadow Grove & The Bucketiers

Rosamond
Union Grove Baptist Church from North Carolina was in the house this week, and it was a blast! The team came prepared to love the kids at Rosamond well and they served with flexibility and compassion. All week long Union Grove had to battle issues with their bus, but they always found a way to overcome those transportation obstacles and maintain a positive attitude. No matter the heat, the team was carrying, holding and interacting with the kids. They found new kids to bring to Bible club all week long! At Bible story, the kids got to sing a song that went along with the story, which really helped the kids remember what they had learned. Crafts were always fun and interactive, and the team brought a tent so that the kids could make crafts in the shade, which proved really helpful! All of the kids loved making pom-pom caterpillar magnets and coloring a pop-up coloring sheet about Jesus' resurrection. Games was poppin' all week long! From parachutes to relay races, everyone stayed actively involved the whole time. Songs was a lot of fun too, as the kids played musical games, limbo and freeze dance! We are beyond thankful that Union Grove helped provide lunches for the kids on July 4th, and provided love and fun for them all week long! We absolutely cannot wait to have Union Grove back!

Guernsey
A HUGE thank you to FBC Liberty for showing up to love on the Guernsey kids this week. I was super excited to have this team return to G-Street, as most of them have been there before, and reconnect with a lot of the kids. The team showed the kids pictures from the previous years, and it was sweet to see the kids remember the team members. Bible story was super interactive all week long. Our older boys were actually excited to go to learn about Jesus and were constantly asking questions. One of the Bible stories explained that we are lost without God, then to describe that the kids had to follow directions to put a flashlight together. The kids eventually got the flashlights to work and realized that the directions were necessary. In crafts, Liberty helped the kids make crowns with Bible verses on them and then the kids got to wear them the rest of the day! The kids loved the crowns so much that some of them came back to club wearing them the next day. Thank you so much, FBC Liberty, for loving so well. We can’t wait to have you back in town!

Whittier
We are beyond thankful to have had Ridgedale Baptist Church from Chattanooga, TN in for week 5! They taught the kids all about people in the Bible that God used to fulfill His purposes like Jonah, Noah & Daniel - oh my! Every craft, game, and song went along with the stories. Ridgedale taught about Daniel and the lion's den and then helped our kids make the cutest “stress balls” ever by filling yellow balloons with rice and drawing a lion face on it. We cannot express our gratitude for Ridgedale Baptist making the sacrifice to give up this 4th of July holiday to come and serve our kids and community. This not only kept Whitvegas babies from missing out on a week of Bible clubs, but allowed them to keep the consistency of Bible club, celebrate the 4th with us, get special lunches, and most importantly see more of Jesus. What a blessed week it was! Thank you for serving our community here in Memphis once again, Ridgedale! We had a blast!

National
We were absolutely blessed to have El Salvador Assembly of God serving at National this week! Lots of fun was had and loads of love were given! The kids enjoyed helping act out the Bible story each day. It helped them truly learn and understand the stories! Games was so much fun as the kids played kickball, ultimate frisbee, and really exciting relay games. Songs was a big hit, too! The kids loved dancing to the cha-cha slide, playing freeze dance, and singing songs as loudly as they could. No matter how many kids we had or how hot it was, the team was excited to go out, serve, and love the community. On Friday we talked about what all the Lord has done this week. It was so sweet to reflect on how the Lord worked in not only the kids' lives but also each team members life. Thank you, El Salvador Assembly of God, for choosing to say yes to Jesus and for serving his people in Memphis so well. We can't wait to serve alongside each of you again!

Johnson
Week 5 at Johnson was so sweet. We had two former staffers, Alice and Bucket, and their teams, Meadow Grove and the Bucketiers in the house. There were some really sweet moments as Bucket and Alice got to reunite with a few Bible club kids that they had while they were on staff. The teams had tons of energy and loved the Bible club kids so well all week long. We hit the summer high on Friday with 44 kids! We met many new faces this week and they had so much fun learning about Jesus all week long. The kids' favorite story was the conversion of Saul to Paul. At songs, the kids learned Bible verses and had screaming contests to see who could yell the verses the loudest. Games was a blast all week, too. The team brought stuff for relay races, obstacle courses, and even played connect four with the kids. Crafts provided some really sweet time for conversations with the kiddos while making journals, salvation bracelets, frisbees and more! Throughout the week, Octavious was asking questions about salvation. On the way home Wednesday, he prayed and asked Jesus to save him. The team was so excited to celebrate this moment with him. We want to thank Meadow Grove and the Bucketiers for loving Johnson so well. WE ARE, WE ARE JOHNSON!

Pope
P-O-P-E! That is where we want to be! FBC Arcadia brought us an amazing week 5 at Pope. We had a high of 43 kids on Monday, and the kids had so much fun all week long! Our kids loved sack racing and running obstacle courses in games. They also loved being in crafts where they got to plant seeds and be little Queens and Kings with the crowns they made! On Friday, our kids were super excited because they got to take backpacks home. In songs, they got to learn several new songs and sing old ones like Baby Shark! In Bible story, the kids learned about bad and good kings and queens, and that we should all be good kings and queens. The kids also got a Bible so they can continue learning about God on their own time! Thank you so much, FBC Arcadia, for a great week and for loving our kids so well.

Week 4 - FBC Paris, Franklin First UMC, Salem Avenue Baptist, Clearbranch UMC, FBC Amory, FBC Pflugerville, Arrowwood Baptist Church, Calvary Chapel Greensboro, FBC Stevenson & Eastmont Baptist

Rosamond
We had the pleasure of spending week 4 at Rosamond with FBC Paris! The team arrived full of energy and ready to love on everyone they met. Our kids had a blast during free-play every day with FBC Paris! The giant yoga balls they brought were a hit, and each kid always had someone to play with! At games, the older boys loved learning how to play two-base kickball! The middle-aged kids had so much fun playing freeze-dance and having dance battles at songs! On Friday, the older girls enjoyed making foam welcome mats. One of the girls wrote, "I welcome Jesus into my home" on her welcome mat, which was really sweet! Bible story was energetic every day and the little ones loved getting to cuddle up to the team members! FBC Paris was intentional about having gospel conversations with our kids at Rosamond and on Friday Jordan decided to dedicate his life to following Christ! We celebrated Jordan's decision and gave him a Bible so he can start learning even more about Jesus! Thank you, FBC Paris, for loving the kids at Rosamond and sharing the light of Christ with everyone you met this week!

Guernsey

Franklin First UMC joined us over at Guernsey Bible Club this week! It was such a joy to have them in town this week and see their true love for the people of Memphis shine through. They went out with lively spirits and canvased well, which brought a high of 50 kids back to Bible Club. This week was really sweet as the team was able to find several kids who haven’t been to Bible Club since last summer! The kids loved crafts station this week where they got to make a beach scene that included seashells and jellyfish. Our middle age group loved breaking it down at songs station where they learned a couple of fun new dances! A huge thank you to Franklin First UMC for having so much energy and loving so well! God has been so good to Guernsey Bible Club this summer, and I cannot wait to see God continue to work for his good in these remaining weeks. Pray for great things to happen at guernsey bible club and that these kids will be the light in their families.

Whittier
What a week it was over at Whitvegas!! Our friends from Salem Avenue Baptist Church in Rolla, MO brought love to so many people in our community this week. We can’t begin to express how grateful we are. Each day in Bible story the kids learned about a different part of Paul’s life and how it all pointed back to Jesus. The kids loved the special crafts, including contact paper “stain glass” creations and scratch off colorful art. Each craft pointed to the beauty & meaning that Christ brings to our lives. Over at games, the Whittier babies got to play a lot of their favorites such as Mr. Bear, Sharks & Minnows, and Duck Duck Goose. The kids even taught the leaders how to play Ameba Tag! Songs station was a hit with limbo, jump rope competitions, long jump competitions, dancing & the ultimate game of hot potato. The hot potato toy had a water balloon inside as well as a timer. When the timer stopped, the potato popped the water balloon on whoever had it. The kids' laughs & huge smiles were priceless. Thanks, fellow Missourians, for your contribution, flexibility (especially with weather) & love this week. You have been such a blessing to us & our kiddos!
- Claire & Kristin

National
National was poppin’ this week thanks to Clearbranch UMC! Clearbranch, you loved so well this week. Our kids were truly blessed to have you all pouring into their lives. Bible story walked through the Old Testament beginning with creation and ending in the New Testament with the parable of the prodigal son. There were so many awesome, intentional gospel conversations had! Crafts pointed toward the Bible story every day, and a favorite was having their faces painted like animals for Noah’s Ark. Our kids had so much fun playing with the parachute at games station and enjoyed learning new hand games at songs. Clearbranch, thank you so much for loving so extremely well. This was so evident in all of our kids' attitudes, especially in our older boys. You poured into them and cared for them in so many ways. Taking kids back home on the last day is always difficult, but even though you were sad to leave you did not waste any minute. You carried kids the whole way home, you talked with them about what they learned this week, and you hugged each child before they went inside. It was beautiful to watch the kids reciprocate the love that you poured into them. Thank you so very much for serving alongside us this week.
- Morgan & Kara

Johnson
Johnson was so much fun this week! FBC Amory came ready to love the kids well. Amory soaked up every sweet moment and never ran out of energy. The kids got to learn about the miracles of Jesus at Bible story this week, and they loved it. Everyone was excited to hear about Jesus doing things that everyday people cannot do, like how Jesus walked on water, gave the blind man sight, fed the 5,000, healed the withered hand, and resurrected Lazarus! At crafts on Tuesday, the kids got to create a stained glass window in the shape of a fish. On Wednesday, the kids were transformed into superheroes with Super Jesus capes. The team helped the kids come up their own superpowers which was a super cute idea! The kids had so much fun at games and songs stations as well! They taught the team lots of new dance moves at songs, and at games, the kids were laughing with delight as they sprinted through a wall of team members spraying them with water guns! On Friday, FBC Amory finished the week off with gift bags full of toys and candy. We want to thank Amory so much for such a great week!

Que Que
I don’t know what you have heard. Que Que parties rock the Earth! I don’t know what you have seen. Que Que parties for the King! It was a great week over at club Que Que with Clearbranch UMC. The high for the week was 38 kids! Mr. Corey and his crew at games rocked it every day playing fun and exciting games with all the kids. The younger groups loved playing with the parachute, the older girls had a blast playing various relay races, and the boys had a great time playing football! The songs station jammed out by singing Bible Club songs and dancing to the Cupid Shuffle, Old Town Road, and Whip and Nae Nae. The guys at Bible story knocked it out of the park by teaching the kids about Adam and Eve, Noah’s Ark, The Walls of Jericho, Jonah, and the Whale, and the Prodigal Son. Plus, the kids had so much fun at the crafts station! They made pipe cleaner snakes, got their faces painted to look like their favorite animals, decorated horns to march around Jericho with, created the cutest craft where Jonah was actually in the whale’s mouth and made salvation bracelets. We are so thankful for Clearbranch UMC coming this week and loving our kids so well. We are excited to see how the Lord works in the lives of our kids for the rest of the summer.

Pope
FBC Pflugerville spent the week at Bible Club Pope, and what an amazing week it was! Pflugerville brought us tons of new kiddos throughout the week and a high of 47 kids on Friday! Our youngest kids loved playing Mr. Bear and Duck Duck Goose in the games station. Our oldest kids had tons of fun playing Capture the Flag and a version of basketball during games. Our middle-aged group loved hanging out in the crafts station where they decorated noisemakers and made salvation bracelets. So many of our kids were able to tell us what every color meant on the bracelets which was really neat. Even our older boys group enjoyed making welcome mats to take back to their home! At Bible story, our kids learned how God can use anyone to spread His glory and purpose through the story of Paul. On Friday, Hope prayed the salvation prayer and accepted Christ into her life. Shout out to Pflugerville for showing our kids the love of Jesus. We had so much fun out at Bible Club Pope this week and we are so thankful for all of FBC Pflugerville's love and energy. We can’t wait to see what happens at Bible Club over the 4th of July week!

Jackson
This week at Jackson was such a blessing. The team from Arrowwood Baptist was fun, loving, and energetic. The Bible story leaders kept the kids’ interest all week by telling different stories about Paul's life. The older boys and girls were extremely interested and asked lots of questions about Jesus and His word. Games station was a favorite during this week with relays, potato sack races, and parachute time. The kids also loved showing off their favorite dance moves in songs by playing freeze dance and Little Sally Walker. Crafts was an outstanding station every single day of the week. The kids loved making sand cross necklaces, coloring mosaic crosses, designing binoculars, and much more! Everybody had something they enjoyed doing during free play before starting Bible Club. Having coloring sheets and markers ready for the kids once they got to Bible Club was a stellar idea. On Friday, the team handed out bags to the kids full of treats, necessities, toys, and a Bible to each kid. The kids were super thankful for this unique surprise! The Arrowwood team was full of great people who have a heart for God and our kids. Jackson will miss this team so much. We cannot wait to see you next year!

Treadwell
Calvary Chapel Greensboro brought us an amazing week of Bible Club at Treadwell. Calvary Chapel brought a high of 29 kids on Thursday, and all the kids had so much fun! They had a great time in games where the team set up a bunch of different obstacle courses and relay races. At one point, the kids sack raced to get ping pong balls which they could trade for puzzle pieces. Once they got all of the puzzle pieces, the kids could figure out the Bible verse! As a challenge, some of the kids had to piece the puzzle together blindfolded! It was awesome to watch the kids have so much fun while learning about scripture. The kids at Treadwell also enjoyed crafts where they got to decorate miniature Bibles, make salvation chains, and more. They loved showing off their crafts, and were excited to take home a prayer journal on Friday! Every day in songs the kids learned a Bible Verse song and sang some hey burrito, little red wagon, baby shark, and this little light of mine - they also did the macarena! In Bible story, the kids learned about Paul and got to visualize a map of his journey. The kids learned so much about Jesus and got to memorize so many Bible Verses. It was a fabulous week. The kids loved it all! Thank you Calvery Chapel for giving us an amazing week at Treadwell!

Baltic
B to the A to the L to the T-I-C! FBC Pflugerville was hanging out at Bible Club Baltic this week. We had a blast all week watching the Lord work and do amazing things! Pflugerville was full of energy and intentional love for our kiddos. I loved watching them interact with the kids at each station - they were just magnetized! On Wednesday, one of our sweet kids, Camerion, gave his life to Jesus! We talked, prayed, and celebrated him as a new believer! There was a party in Heaven, and also at Baltic because of Camerion's decision to follow Christ. Thursday morning was stormy, so we had Bible Club in the afternoon instead! The muggy-ness didn’t stop the team or the kiddos from having an awesome time at Bible Club. It was so fun to watch the kids teach the team how to play Mr. Bear—a Bible Club favorite game. At Bible Club on Friday, we had the highest number of kids for the week! It was such a testament to the way this team let Jesus flow through them in all they did. I heard so many beautiful gospel conversations, saw so many hugs, and felt the warmth of Jesus in this team all week long. FBC Pflugerville, I know these kiddos loved every minute of being with you. Thanks for your humble service!

Colonial Hills
Welcome back, friends, to Street Reach Colonial Hills. Week 4 was a HUGE blessing full of surprises and wonderful moments. No seriously, it was an AMAZING week. One of my favorite moments was on Tuesday when a couple of grandparents just hop out of their car with a little girl, 6 water guns, and a five-gallon cooler. "Here everybody!" haha! After engaging in conversation, we learned that Mrs. Brenda and her husband, as well as a few friends, loved what we were doing so much that they wanted to help out and be a part of the ministry. They began showing up every day to support us with snacks and helping hands. They even cooked lunch for the whole bible club on Friday! IT WAS SUCH AN AMAZING WEEK! Massive thanks to God for providing opportunities to connect and meet people where they are at, and thanks also to our missionaries FBC Stevenson. They were super flexible despite the storms this week; they poured out everything they had on becoming children to minister to the children; they walked routes multiple times to find kids for club; and no matter what came next, they were ready and willing to love others. I loved seeing the children lead by boat (made out of one jump rope and imagination) all over Rome (the park playground) to follow Paul on his missionary journeys. What I loved, even more, was that the children could recount their journeys and the bible stories they learned along the way. Lastly, I loved being asked by little Jacob if he could talk to me about becoming a Christian! I cannot say this enough, you cannot fathom just how much God can (and will) use you in just one week. And praise His name for it! Please keep Colonial Hills and the surrounding community in your prayers. Pray that the community members who know Christ will continue to love and serve the rest. Pray that more connections and relationships will be built between our partnering church Trinity Baptist and the members of the community. And please pray for Jacob. He is still learning what it really means to be a Christian. We spoke about how a Christian is someone who mimics Jesus Christ and how no one is able to do so without God's help, but he still has a ways to grow in his understanding of the Gospel. "The time has come. The kingdom of God is near." (Mark 1:15)

Beckett
Street Reach St. Louis is underway, and what a great week it was! Eastmont Baptist rolled into town with high expectations, plenty of energy, and lots of love for the kids. Bible Club Beckett saw a high of 10 kids on Wednesday! All week the kids learned about the fruits of the spirit in Bible story, played games ranging from kickball to ships and sailors, made some awesome crafts, and were introduced to some classic Bible Club songs. Throughout the week, the team not only poured their love into the kids but served everyone in the community with whom they came into contact. Anyone who was at the park or anyone who happened to walk by was met by team members ready to talk with, pray with and share the love of Christ with them. We even had 2 professions of salvation later in the week! One was an older kid who came to club for several days, and the other was by a young uncle of two kids who came to Bible Club all week long! Thank you, East Mont, for being the hands and feet of Jesus here at Club Beckett and helping water the seeds planted in St. Louis. We look forward to seeing what God has in store next year!
- The Lou Crew

Beckett
What a great week it was at Bible Club Park! Eastmont Baptist brought so much fun and excitement this week to kick off our summer in St. Louis! Learning the fruits of the spirit was barely scratching the surface of what the kids learned this week. The Good Samaritan was just one of many stories the kids heard this week. Airplanes and planters were among the many cool crafts that all of the kids enjoyed making this week. There was always fun to be had as Eastmont went out and showed Christ’s love to every single person they came into contact with. We can’t thank you enough for the love the kids and staff felt this week from you. Thank you, Eastmont Baptist Church, for loving St. Louis. It was definitely a week to remember.
